This exciting, informative and interactive symposium will feature award winning educators and schools focusing on character education within the Common Core Learning Standards to support school climate, school culture, stress reduction, promotion of academic excellence, bullying prevention, and the Dignity for All Students Act.
The initial presentation will be “Perspectives on Realigning the Common Core Through Character Based Curriculum Development”.
Following an interactive supper, Dr Kyle Blanchfield, award winning educational reform advocate, will focus on “Leadership, Violence and School Climate: Steps Leading to the Creation of Non-Violent, Happy and Productive Schools.”
The closing highlight will be a panel discussion of stakeholders dealing with strategies and best practices for integrating character and the common core into your school, classroom, and community.
The symposium will include opportunities for attendee participation, Q&A, school team involvement and idea exchange.
