Documentary & Discussion: The Loving Story

This film, part of the Created Equal series, is the story of Mildred and Richard Loving, who were woken up in the middle of the night in 1958 and arrested for violating a state law that banned marriage between people of different races. Their struggle culminated in a landmark Supreme Court decision, Loving v. Virginia (1967) which overturned anti-miscegenation laws in the United States.
