Nicholson BakerNicholson Baker, novelist and non-fiction writer, will visit Russell Sage College on Thursday, October 7, 2010, at 7:30pm when he will engage in a conversation regarding his work with Dr. David A. Salomon, Chair of the Department of English and Modern Languages. A reception and book signing to follow in m.o.s.s. books. Baker is the author most recently of The Anthologist, a novel narrated by Paul Chowder, a little-known poet, who has been charged with writing the introduction to new poetry anthology. Bakers previous works include The Mezzanine (1988), Vox (1992), Double Fold: The Assault on Libraries (2002), and the critically-acclaimed Human Smoke: The Beginnings of World War II, The End of Civilization (2008).
