- Great American Smoke-Out
- The Great American Smokeout is an annual event in the United States to encourage Americans (of whom 45.8 million smoke) to quit tobacco smoking. The American Cancer Society held its first Smokeout in 1977. The event challenges people not to smoke cigarettes for 24 hours, hoping their decision to quit will last forever. It is held annually on the third Thursday in November.[1]

- $1 dollar sneak peak nights. Make sure you get tickets quick. The first 50 people will only have to pay $1, and one guest is allowed at the $1 dollar cost. After that tickets will be $6.00 a piece. The showing of the movie will be at midnight on the day the movie comes out. This way Sage students can be some of the first to see these movies.

- World Aids Day
- observed December 1 each year, is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection. It is common to hold memorials to honor persons who have died from HIV/AIDS on this day. Government and health officials also observe the event, often with speeches or forums on the AIDS topics. Since 1995, the President of the United States has made an official proclamation on World AIDS Day. Governments of other nations have followed suit and issued similar announcements.

- Artist talk: Art & Activism, Tuesday, December 1, 12:30pm Artist guided walk-through of exhibit: Friday, December 4, 7pm An exhibit surveying 35 years of this significant photographer's work. The exhibit explores this artist's deep interest in women which threads through all of the portfolios of this keenly engaged observer. The show consists of approximately 50 gelatin silver prints dating from 1975 to the present and is accompanied by an illustrated catalogue with an essay by Eleanor Heartney. This exhibit is the first full career survey evidencing the constancy and growth of this artist's vision.
