The Sage Colleges Department of History and Society, in partnership with WMHT, the Underground Railroad Project of the Capital Region and the Rensselaer County Historical Society proudly host a screening and facilitated community conversation of American Experience: The Abolitionists.

Moderated by Ilene Frank, Executive Director of the Rensselaer County Historical Society.

Panelists include:

  • Andor Skotnes, Professor of History and Chair, Department of History and Society, The Sage Colleges
  • Paul Stewart, co-founder, Underground Railroad History Project of the Capital Region 
  • Tiffany S. Powell-Lambright, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Help Yourself Academy, Director, Esteves Graduate School of Education
  • Isabel Pottinger, sophomore at Albany High School and member of the Young Abolitionists
