Film Screening and Discussion: A Girl's Life

Rachel Simmons, acclaimed researcher and author, conducts a series of interviews with a variety of parents, psychologists, and teachers responsible for raising young girls into confident women. Particular attention is paid to four girls who share their experiences with bullying (both on and offline), body image, and the threat of violence. Sponsored by Sage, Girls Inc. and the Girls Scouts of Northeastern New York.
