This is the first conference hosted by the Dawn Lafferty Hochsprung Center for the Promotion of Mental Health and School Safety, established in 2013 following the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, of which Hochsprung was principal. She was also a doctoral candidate in Sage’s Educational Leadership program.
