The Sage Colleges presents the Commemorative Flag Dedication Ceremony

The Commemorative Flag Project 2010-2012
Veterans Week 2010 was a week-long series of events dedicated to veterans and their families. Community members were invited to make a commemorative flag honoring someone who served in the Armed Forces. The first Commemorative Flag Dedication Ceremony was held on Veterans Day 2010 with more than 280 flags on display.

The Sage Colleges is pleased to sponsor the second annual Commemorative Flag Dedication Ceremony, which includes 60 more flags constructed in 2011 to remember those who served or are serving in the Armed Forces. This year, we invite you to circle the interior of Bush Memorial and share the story of your flag with others. These are stories that deserve to be told and are part of our personal and collective history. Thank you for your participation.
