Lee Hirsch, director of the documentary Bully, comes to Sage to discuss his
touching and troubling movie, as well as his own experiences as a victim
of bullying. Bully examines the issue as it affects five families from various
ethnic, cultural and geographical backgrounds and situations. The impact of
sustained physical and emotional abuse on the lives of young victims and their
families is presented intimately, frighteningly, and Bully has sparked an intense,
nation-wide conversation. Hirsch will relate his own personal story, discuss the
motivation behind the film, and share information about The Bully Project, a
social action campaign to end bullying. For more information and to purchase advanced tickets, contact Michael Duignan at (518) 292-1753 or duignm@sage.edu
