In the past five years, the decades-long denial campaign regarding the Armenian Genocide waged by successive governments of Turkey has lost the effect it once had. But the defeat of denial merely returns us to the question of what should be done to address the persisting injustice of the genocide. Henry C. Theriault will consider a reparative approach to the Armenian Genocide through analysis of the ethical issues it raises. The Armenian Genocide Reparations Study Group recently released a draft report addressing the legal, historical, political and ethical dimensions of reparations for the Armenian Genocide.
