Karen N. Drenkard, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN

Russell Sage College Class of 1980
Dr. Karen Drenkard is the Executive Director of the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is currently serving as an editorial advisor to Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA) and Nursing Administration Quarterly (NAQ).
Drenkard is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. She received her doctorate in nursing administration from George Mason University, was a Wharton Nurse Executive Fellow, and a Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow. In addition to her ANCC certification as a Nurse Executive, Advanced (NEA-BC), Drenkard is also a Certified Healthcare Quality Professional(CPHQ).
