As many of you know last fall Sage took part in the global climate crisis program organized by former vice president and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project. For 24 hours we kept Buchman Pavilion open while streaming the global program and offered complementary information books and a 24 hour marathon documentary film series. Building on that effort we are going to take part in a similar effort from the evening of November 14 through the evening of November 15. This year’s international effort will help the global community understand the connection between the ever more common occurrences of what is currently being called "extreme weather" and the larger climate crisis caused by humanity having accidentally enhanced the planet’s heat trapping capacity through the prolific burning of fossil fuels.
We are currently announcing an organizing meeting for those interested in helping to organize this year's effort to help Sage play an important role in this extraordinarily important effort to help a global audience understand the unprecedented nature of the threat that faces us.
The organizing meeting will take place Oct 15 at 4:00 in French House Annex
