Kimiko Hahn is the author of several collections of poetry, including Toxic Flora, The Narrow Road to the Interior, The Artist's Daughter, Mosquito and Ant, Volatile and The Unbearable Heart (1995), which received an American Book Award. Hahn’s other honors include the Poetry society of America Shelley Memorial Award and a PEN/Voelcker Award for Poetry. She is a Distinguished Professor in the English department at Queens College/CUNY.
