Keynote Address : Lori Eville, Correctional Program Specialist
National Institute of Correction Community Services Division
Lori Eville is a Correctional Program Specialist at the National Institute of Corrections in Washington, D.C. She works in the community services division which supports county, state, and federal pretrial, probation, and parole agencies throughout the United States by providing training and technical assistance. She is the initiative manager of the "Framework for Evidence- Based Decision Making in Local Criminal Justice Systems."
Prior to joining NIC in 2009, she worked for Multnomah County Department of Community Justice where she was the program manager of Pretrial Services and Adult Parole and Probation supervision units. Lori has also worked with the Oregon Youth Authority as a program director of the Rogue Valley Youth Correctional Facility where she was responsible for treatment services and conditions of confinement for incarcerated youth. She has worked as a certified and licensed occupational therapist in acute physical rehabilitation as well as the Oregon State Hospital’s Forensic Unit.
