Sage garners a CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American

Towson, MD – The Sage Colleges’ men’s volleyball team had one player saluted by CoSIDA (College Sports Information Directors Association) with a selection to the 2013 CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-America First Team on June 4. Honored from Sage with a selection to the First-Team was senior Ryan Kramer (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central). Kramer becomes the College’s first student-athlete named to the First Team, while becoming the fifth CoSIDA Academic All-American.

The Sage Colleges’ softball team placed one student-athlete on the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America National Softball Third Team for her outstanding efforts in the classroom and on the playing field as sophomore second baseman, Kristen Beikirch (Brockport, NY/Brockport) was honored. She becomes the second Sage softball player to achieve the honor, while becoming the fourth Sage CoSIDA Academic All-American in the school’s history.
