Returning to the Opalka Gallery at the Sage College of Albany on Sunday, November 24 at 4 p.m. and Friday, December 6 at 7 p.m. after last year’s successful collaboration at that location with sculptor John Van Alstine, the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company (ESDC) has been invited to create site specific performances in the gallery that will interact with and are inspired by An Armory Show, an installation by artists Michael Oatman and Ken Ragsdale.

ALBANY, NY – Sage associate professor Matthew McElligott’s book “Bean Thirteen” is featured in a paper published in the November issue of the journal Teaching Children Mathematics. The children’s book is being used as a mathematics teaching tool in classrooms. McElligott, who wrote and illustrated “Bean Thirteen,” teaches Graphic and Media Design at The Sage Colleges.

TROY, NY - The Sage Colleges will host its annual Sherman David Spector Lecture, “Living the Egyptian Revolution,” on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 7:30 p.m. in Bush Memorial Center on the Russell Sage campus. The Egyptian Revolution, which began in January of 2011, was a movement largely focused on bringing down Egypt’s longtime military dictatorship and establishing a democratic government.
