Field Goods and the Nutrition Science Department at The Sage Colleges released a study today on the effects of a Field Goods weekly produce subscription on the health, well-being and finances of subscribers. The results show a direct correlation between a Field Goods subscription and healthier eating habits, increased satisfaction with eating habits and saving money.

Students in the Interior Design program at The Sage Colleges are participating in their first CANstruction competition. CANstruction is a non-profit organization in which teams of architects, engineers, contractors, designers and students compete to create giant structures made entirely out of canned food. After the event all food is donated to local food banks.

The warming of the globe, a phenomenon largely caused by humanity’s prolific burning of fossil fuels, has impacted the entire planet, but it is playing out differently in various regions.

President Scrimshaw was presented with the honor on December 5, 2014 during an award ceremony in Washington, D.C. The event took place in conjunction with the American Anthropological Association’s annual conference.

Students in a Creative Arts in Therapy course at Russell Sage College recently led two nights of creative arts activities for adolescents on the autism spectrum. The community service project known as SAGE (Super Activities, Great Enjoyment), is now in its 4th year of providing creative opportunities in music, art, dance, and theatre.
