Sage To Host NYS Senate Debate September 11
September 10, 2012 at 11:39 amTROY - Incumbent state Senator Roy McDonald and challenger Saratoga County Clerk Kathy Marchione will square off during a debate at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Bush Memorial on the campus of Russell Sage College.
The two officials are vying for the Republican nod for the 43rd state Senate District.
The hour-long debate is sponsored by The Sage Colleges, The Record and its sister newspaper, The Saratogian.
Moderator will be John Gray, co-anchor of Fox 23 News. Panelists who will be questioning the candidates are: Record City Editor Jim Franco, Saratogian reporter Lucian McCarty and longtime Capitol reporter Kyle Hughes, editor and publisher of NYSNYS News.
