To Write Love on Her Arms (TWLOHA) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.

This past November, our Peer Educators brought the vision of TWLOHA to The Sage Colleges. By the second day, students were lined up to participate and help spread the message of TWLOHA. This two day event was one of many activities held during the month of October and November which raised awareness of mental health, LGBTQ, and disability acceptance at The Sage Colleges.

This week our Peer Educators received a letter of recognition from TWLOHA for the events. This is the first time the Peer Education Program has been recognized for their efforts by a national organization.

"Your selflessness and attitudes driven to promote change and help your campus are truly inspiring. We look forward to meeting you in the spring semester." With Hope, TWLOHA

The CAPES Peer Education Program works within The Sage Colleges Wellness Center. The mission of the program is to raise awareness of particular concerns on a college campus, and within the greater community.  For more information about this event or peer education please visit the link below, or contact Stacey Maslowsky directly.
