Troy, NY – The Sage Colleges are pleased to welcome Jamie Tworkowski, founder of To Write Love on Her Arms. Sage students overwhelmingly voted to bring Tworkowski to campus last fall in an online survey.

TWLOHA is a non-profit organization dedicated to finding hope and help for those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and thoughts of suicide. Tworkowski started the program in 2006, after he met a young girl in need of support. Inspired, he started the nonprofit and in a few short years has reached hundreds of thousands of people in more than 100 countries and has raised nearly $1 million, which is donated to treatment and recovery facilities. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
