The Sage Colleges website, www.sage.edu, was selected for an Award of Distinction in the 2011 Communicator Awards presented by the International Academy of the Visual Arts.

Sage.edu won the silver-level award in the School/University Website category. The Sage website is managed by Kevin Hanselman, director of web strategies, who has been with Sage since 2007.

"We recognize that the web is at the core of communication and commerce.  Sage’s website has evolved and improved significantly in recent years and represents the dynamism that is The Sage Colleges,” said Dan Lundquist, vice president for marketing and enrollment management. “Under the talented guidance of Kevin Hanselman, we revamped the site entirely in-house in 2010, and our quest for continuous improvement is never-ending.”

The 2011 Communicator Awards received more than 6,000 entries from the U.S. and around the world and is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence among communication professionals.

The International Academy of Visual Arts is a member organization of leading professionals from various disciplines of the visual arts dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media.
