Author David Smith: If the World Were A Village

Author and educator David Smith travels the globe sharing his enthusiastic and innovative approach to teaching and learning about the world. A classroom teacher with more than 25 years experience teaching English, geography and social studies, Smith developed a unique method of teaching students to draw maps of the entire world from memory. His books include If the World Were a Village and This Child Every Child.
Smith's visit is part of Sage's Esteves School of Education Spring Speaker Series.
David Smith will also appear in Kahl Campus Center on the Albany campus at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28. Both events are free and open to the public.
