Sage to Host Capital Region Career Expo on June 18
Albany, NY – Sage’s School of Management has partnered with Time Warner Cable and Clear Channel to host area businesses at the 3rd Annual Capital Region Career Expo on Tuesday, June 18 on the Sage College of Albany campus.
Those in attendance will have the opportunity to network with area employers with available positions, meet with representatives from The Sage Colleges and other local schools and attend professional development workshops, including:
- "Acing The Interview" with Mike Breslin, Assistant Director of MBA and MS Career Resources. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
- "Resumes That Get You Noticed" with Amanda Spring, Assistant Director of Career Planning. Sage College of Albany
- "Entrepreneurship 101: Starting and Sustaining Your Small Business" with Jim Wilson & Scott Glasser, Co-Founders of BeagleBird Studio
- "Pursue Your Passion: Targeting Community Responsible Businesses in your Job Search" with Katrin Haldeman. Owner of the Dali Mamma Cafe and Founder of Traveling Taste Buds
The Career Expo workshops will be held in the Kahl Campus Center. Each is one hour long and will be offered twice.
Session I will begin at 10 a.m.
Session II will begin at 11 a.m.
The job fair and college fair portion begins at noon in the Kahl Campus Center gymnasium.
