On, Friday, October 23, 2015, Dr. Mahogany Miles, DMD, MSD, met with CSTEP students at The Sage Colleges who are interested in pursuing careers in the field of dentistry. Dr. Miles shared the evolution of her career from an undergraduate student at Butler University, to dental student at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, through her residency in Periodontics at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. While Dr. Miles admitted to the students present that dental school is highly competitive, she offered tips for staying focused and on track academically.

The Helen M. Upton Center for Women’s Studies at The Sage Colleges turns twenty-five on Sunday, October 25, 2015. The center marked its birthday with a celebration today, Friday, October 23.

The Sage Colleges is proud to announce that Russell Sage College was honored as an “Organization of Excellence” by the Friends of Oakwood. The college was recognized for its leadership and commitment to excellence in education. The award was announced last night, October 22, 2015 during Oakwood Cemetery’s 14th annual Evening at the Earl, a fundraiser to benefit the National Historic Landmark Gardner Earl Chapel.

She was honored last night, October 18, 2015 during the National Academy of Medicine’s 45th Anniversary Gala in Washington, D.C.

The academy is issuing a statewide call for action uniting students, families and communities to take their efforts to prevent bullying to another level.

The Susan Odell Taylor School will hold a celebratory opening of its Upper School on the Russell Sage campus in Troy. The celebration will take place on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at 10 a.m. with welcoming remarks followed by tours of the school. The Upper School includes students in Grades 5 through 8.
