Teacher Resources
To enhance youth arts education in the community, online teacher resources are now available for our upcoming exhibition, Stories and Journeys: The Art of Faith Ringgold and Aminah Brenda Lynn Robinson. These resources are made for the use of K-12 educators and relate directly to New York State Standards in the Visual Arts, and present valuable connections to Common Core Standards in Literacy. Resource packets can be completed inside and outside of the classroom environment.
If you would like more information about visiting the Opalka Gallery with your students, or to schedule a self-guided tour, please contact the gallery at 518-292-7742 or opalka@sage.edu
Please familiarize yourself with our Independent Viewing Guidelines for K-12 Educators
These resources have been made possible by the Esteves School of Education at The Sage Colleges’ M.A.T. in Art Education Program, and the Opalka Gallery.
