Broughton Fellowship
Established in 1982 by the late William Broughton in honor of his parents, Henry and Jane Tinkham Broughton, the Broughton Graduate Fellowship in Creative Applied Science is given each year to recognize and support students who demonstrate particular excellence.

Sage Centers of Inquiry
Sage students have the added advantage of on-campus centers devoted to the in-depth exploration of significant topics. Centers include: The Academy for Character Education, The Council for Citizenship Education, the Sage-SIFT Alliance, the Helen M. Upton Center for Women's Studies, the Kathleen A. Donnelly Center for Undergraduate Research, and The Sage Climate Crisis Educational Center.

Louis and Hortense Rubin Community Fellows Program
Established in June 1990 with a gift from the Louis Rubin Family to The Sage Colleges, the Louis and Hortense Rubin Community Fellows Program is a cooperative venture of The Sage Colleges, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Hudson Valley Community College, Emma Willard School, and participating agencies of Rensselaer County. The program and fund is administered by The Sage Colleges.

Kathleen A. Donnelly Undergraduate Research Center
The Kathleen A. Donnelly Center for Undergraduate Research (DCUR) opened in September 2008 as one of the Dean's first Centers for Excellence. Named for Dr. Kathleen Donnelly, Professor Emerita Chemistry, the DCUR aims to support the pursuits of undergraduate research at Russell Sage College in a variety of ways.
