Approved Certificate Programs

For Federal Financial Aid

In order for a certificate program to qualify for federal financial aid, the Department of Education requires that the program be at least 1 academic year (minimum of 24 credits and 30 weeks) in duration and leads to a certificate, degree, or other recognized credential and prepares students for gainful employment in a recognized occupation. The following certificate programs are approved and eligible for financial aid should a student choose to apply. All other certificate programs offered at The Sage Colleges are not eligible at this time.

• Certificate in Legal Studies
• Certificate in Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Medical Studies
• Certificate in Post-Masters Nursing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
• Certificate in Post-Masters Nursing Adult Nurse Practitioner
• Certificate in Post-Masters Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner
• Certificate in Post-Masters Nursing Gerontological Nurse Practitioner
• Certificate in Post-Masters Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
• Certificate in Post-Masters Nursing Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
