Student Refunds
Receive your student account refund in the fastest, most convenient way.
You get to choose how you receive your money. Simply log into SageAdvisor and click on 'Student Refunds.'
So, what are your choices?
The Fastest Option : Sallie Mae® No Fee Student Checking Account with Debit MasterCard®
When you choose this option Sallie Mae will mail you a debit card for you to activate for use. Your refund money will be deposited into your Sallie Mae account on the same day that the funds are disbursed.
Another Fast Option: Direct Deposit to your existing checking or savings account
When you choose to have your funds direct deposited to your existing bank account it will take just two business days for the money to arrive after it has been disbursed.
Refund checks are not available for pick up in Student Services so, if you do not choose the first two options it can take up to ten days for you to receive your refund check in the mail after the funds have been disbursed.
Please note, the check will be mailed to the current address student services has for you so, be sure to keep all of your information accurate with our office! You can update your address on SageAdvisor, in our office, or by emailing student_services@sage.edu .
To make your choice, log into SageAdvisor, enter the student menu, and click 'Student Refunds'. If you have any questions you may call our office or call the Sallie Mae customer service numbers located in the student refund portal.
Through the Student Refund portal on SageAdvisor you can check the status of pending refunds.
