PC Internet/Network Access Instructions

Step by Step
1. Make sure your PC is using DHCP (most are).
2. Open a browser (tested on both IE and Firefox)
3. Type a URL in the navigation pane ie http://www.google.com
4. You will now be redirected to a login page.
5. Accept the certificate, if necessary.
6. Type in your sage username/password and choose accept
7. Done!!!

There are two networks available to students Sage-Open and Sage-Secure. Sage-Open is unencrypted and Sage-Secure has WEP encryption. We encourage you to use the Secure network anytime sensitive information is being used (passwords/credit cards).
Sage-Secure- More secure, but requires an extra step, a WEP key must used the first time.
Sage-Open Faster, but unencrypted.
1. Make sure your PC is using DHCP (most are).
2. Right click on the Wireless Network Connection icon (bottom right near time).
3. Left click on View Available Wireless Networks
4. Left click on either Sage-Secure or Sage-Open (see above for descriptions)
5. Open a browser (tested on both IE and Firefox)
6. If Sage-Secure is chosen you will be prompted for the WEP key.
7. At the WEP key prompt type in lowercase sage-spring08 (no quotes)
8. You will now be redirected to a login page.
9. Accept the certificate, if necessary.
10. Type in your sage username/password and choose accept
11. Done!!!
