Work Order Requests
Welcome to the work order request page for The Sage Colleges. On this page you will be able to submit work orders to both the campus IT Department, and the Maintenance Department.
Please choose from the options below to choose between the IT Department or the Maintenance Department.
IT Department:
The Sage College IT department uses Numara Track-it! to track work orders. Faculty, Staff, and Administrators can use the link below to submit a work order to the Helpdesk. You can achieve the same result via email or phone call. You can also submit requests in person (on the Troy campus).
- Web Client - Using this link will bring you to The Sage Colleges IT self service page where you can enter and track your work orders. Here, you can open new work orders, add to existing work orders, close work orders, or just check on the status of your requests. This link can only be used when on campus.
- You can also email your requests to helpdesk@sage.edu. If you include an attachment to your email, it will be included as an attachment on your work order. This is useful if you have a screenshot of an error message, or other relevant information for your request.
- You can also contact us via telephone at (518) 244-4777.
- You can also submit your requests in person on the Troy campus. The Helpdesk is located in the lower level of the Bush/Education building, adjacent to the computer labs.
Maintenance Department:
The maintenance department at The Sage Colleges uses a web based work order system called Maintenance Direct to enter and track your work order requests.
- Maintenance Direct - Using this link will bring you to the Maintenance Direct website for The Sage Colleges. Here, you can open new work orders, add to existing work orders, close work orders, or just check on the status of your requests. This link can be used from any computer connected to the internet.
- Instructions - If you have never used Maintenance Direct before, you need to review the instructions at this link. This PDF file contains instructions and screen captures, of the pages you will see on the Maintenance Direct website, to set yourself up and get started using Maintenance Direct. You will need Adobe Reader to view the file.
