Alcohol & Substance Abuse
With the goal of keeping its community members informed, safe and healthy in an environment that discourages the abuse of alcohol and drugs and encourages low-risk, healthy behaviors, The Sage Colleges Wellness Center offers a wide range of services to the campus community which includes:
- Screenings, motivational interviewing & short-term counseling, consultation & referral services
- BASICS for high-risk students
- Educational outreach programming including Awareness campaigns & Social Norms marketing campaigns
- Smoking cessation support
- Peer Education
All services are free of charge and completely confidential to students. On the Troy campus, services are offered through the Wellness Center in Kellas Hall (244-2261). On the Albany Campus, services are available through the Wellness Center in Kahl Campus Center (292-1917).
Sage employees and their family members dealing with Alcohol and other Drug issues are eligible to receive free assistance through Employee Services at 1-800-252-4555.
