Sexual Assault Care Center

Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault

Relationship violence is not limited to someone hitting you; violence occurs on many levels, including sexual, emotional and physical. It can consist of someone threatening you, intimidating you into unwanted activities, verbally abusing you, isolating you from your friends and interests, or taking away your ability to make your own choices.

Services are free and confidential within the Wellness Center. The services are available regardless of when the assault or abuse took place and whether or not the victim reported it to the police. The Sexual Assault Care Center also has speakers available to present educational programming.
