Get a Head Start

Sage invites qualified, motivated high school juniors and seniors to get a head start on college by earning college credits, at a cost substantially below regular rates ($50 per credit hour). Check out the courses available to you!

Unlike Advanced Placement (AP) courses for which you may or may not receive college credit, all credits earned through Sage's Head Start program are applicable to degree programs at Russell Sage College or Sage College of Albany, and are generally transferable to other institutions.

If you are a high school junior or senior and have a grade average of 85 or above in a college preparatory curriculum (Regents level or higher), you may be eligible to enroll.

Take Sage out for a test drive. Print and complete the downloadable application form, make sure that your high school guidance counselor and/or principal signs the form as requested, and send it to:
