Q The deadline for the program is approaching (April 10, 2009). May I have an Extension?
A Yes. If you need more time, you may submit the nomination through the end of May. However, we can not guarantee that you will have the confirmation packet by the date of your award ceremony. You do not need to call for an extension.

Q Must my student nominee be a US citizen or resident?
A Yes.

Q What are the SAT requirements for this program?
A The student must have scored at least 1000 on the Math and Verbal portions of the SAT.

Q What if I dont know of a student who is interested in Russell Sage?
A Simply nominate a student who you think embodies the motto of the college (To Be, To Know, To Do) and/or who may be interested in one of our academic programs.

Q What if I need to know if my nominee is confirmed before May 15, 2009?
A You may able to receive a verbal confirmation from us, but we cannot mail awards early.

Q What are your most popular programs?
A All of the Health, Medical, and Sciences; including Nursing, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Pre-Med, Forensic Science; and Education; Theatre; and Creative Arts in Therapy.

Q Does my nominee have to attend Russell Sage to receive the scholarship?
A Yes.

Q Can I nominate more than one student?
A Unfortunately, no.

Q Is Russell Sage College a co-ed or single sex institution?
A Russell Sage is a womans college; however, Sage College of Albany is a co-educational institution. See http://albany.sage.edu/sageart/ to nominate a student for Sage College of Albanys Sage Arts Award.
