Scheduled Events

There are many scheduled opportunities to explore how Russell Sage College can fit into your future. Some students prefer to schedule an individualized Campus Visit to learn about their options (see below). Others like the excitement of scheduled campus events. Programs are scheduled throughout the year to highlight various aspects of the college and campus, and you are welcome to register and attend these events.

Discovery Day -- Sage professionals, students, and alumnae lead high school visitors through the college search and selection process while touching on the basics at Russell Sage. Join other prospective students at this informal event and enjoy a summer barbeque with the Sage community. (Usually held in late July)

Saturday Information Sessions -- Learn more about Sage through a short, group overview with an admissions representative and student-led tour of our historic campus. Group sessions are held select Saturdays throughout the year and are suitable for first year and transfer students. (Usually available four Saturdays, September through December; and three Saturdays, February through April)

Off-Campus Interviews -- Unable to make the trip to campus? We offer opportunities in select regions to interview off-campus with admissions representatives or Sage alumnae. (Usually available September-November and February and March)

Open House -- Discover Sage while hearing from admissions, financial aid, students, faculty, alumnae, and athletics. Attend special workshops showcasing the academic and campus life programs, attend an academic and organization activities fair, meet the Deans, and more. First year and transfer students should get ALL of their questions answered at this large, informational event! (Usually held in late October and late April)

Transfer Open House -- Learn more about Russell Sage during your three hour visit. Students learn about the evaluation of credits, transfer policy, academic programs, financial aid, and more. (Usually held in November and April)

Overnight Program for Prospective Students -- Experience Russell Sage through the eyes of a current student! High School seniors will tour the campus, attend a class, and meet faculty, staff, and students. You and your student hostess will also attend evening campus events and other lively activities. (Usually held in early to mid November) Download the student handbook for overnight visits

Student Sage Scholar Reception During the Overnight Program-By Invitation

Creative and Performing Arts Honors Weekend-By Nomination from a Teacher (Usually held in mid to late January)

Accepted Student Weekend -- Join other accepted students as you make your final college decision. Accepted high school seniors stay overnight in the residence halls, meet other potential members of the next incoming class, interact with students and alumnae, and learn about special opportunities at Sage. Individual Campus Visit

Our Visit Coordinator would be happy to schedule an individual visit to our campus. You may go on a campus tour, meet with a member of the Admission team, and/or meet with a faculty member in your chosen major.
