Reunion 2008 Schedule of Events
FRIDAY, MAY 30
8:30 am start: RSC Athletics Golf Classic
11:00 am - 10:00 pm: Reunion Registration
Buchman Pavilion
Be sure to visit the Alumnae Association table at Buchman Pavilion during registration. Buchman is open for light fare 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Letterboxing will be next to the registration table.
Friday and Saturday: Beyond the Sage Archway
Self-guided tours of Troy
Use your map to venture beyond campus and witness Troy’s Renaissance firsthand. Discover newly refurbished buildings throughout downtown and the unique use of former industrial space. Troy merchants will offer discounts to RSC alumnae on Friday and Saturday. Alumnae and guests - simply present your nametag at the time of your purchase.

1:00-3:00 pm: Silicon Valley of the 1800s
Join P. Tom Carroll on a walking tour of historic buildings throughout downtown Troy. Meet outside of Wool House.
2:00 - 5:00 pm: New and Improved Gator Pit
Robison Athletic Center
Warm up for your day ahead. The Gator Pit at Robison Athletic and Recreation Center will be open for alumnae and guests.
3:00 – 4:00 pm: INVEST at Sage
John Paine Building
Join Professor Tom Keane and Evident Technologies staff for a look at how the technology incubator and the RSC students and faculty work together.
2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 pm: Student Guided Tours of Campus
Admission House
At 2:00, 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., student led tours will depart on the hour from the steps of Admission House (at the corner of Congress and First Street). Tours will include both dormitory and academic spaces, so come and see your old classrooms and dorms!
4:00 - 5:00 pm: Schacht Backstage Tour
Schacht
Stop in for a backstage tour and to see the plans to transform the Sage landmark and home to the New York State Theatre Institute (NYSTI) into a state-of-the art theatre. Wine and cheese reception to follow.
5:00 - 9:00 pm: Troy Night Out
Downtown Troy http://www.troynightout.org/
Troy Night Out is a monthly arts and cultural event that takes place the last Friday of every month in downtown Troy from 5–9 p.m. Attendees are able to enjoy over 30 art events, 15 music venues, and over 20 fine restaurants as well as unique boutiques of all varieties. Throughout the night, the Troy Trolley will be making rounds of the city, providing free transportation to all event attendees and stopping at major event destinations.

Alumnae from the 50th Reunion Class of 1958 are invited to be President Neff’s guests at Schuyler Meadows Country Club, Loudonville. Bus transportation will be available from campus in front of Manning Hall.

Join classmates for dinner. Reconnect, reminisce and have your class photo taken. (Photographer will provide you with a photo for a $10 fee to be paid that evening; photo will be mailed directly to your home.)
9:00 pm: Bush Memorial: Dance to music from the 1950s-1990s, provided by DJ Lynn Pratt.

Alumnae from the 25th Reunion Class of 1983 are invited to President Jeanne Neff’s celebration brunch at her Vail House residence. Also in attendance will be Dean Sharon Robinson.
9:00 am: Washington Park Tour

Tour of Troy’s Washington Park area, including tours of historic brownstones surrounding the park. Departs from Wool House.

Special memorial service honoring Dr. Spector in Bush Memorial.
