Work Study

Most undergraduate student employment positions on the Troy campus are supported by the federal work study program. This program is a need-based employment program available during the fall and spring terms to full-time undergraduate RSC students only. Students are informed of work study eligibility and maximum earnings on their yearly financial aid award letters. Contact the Office of Student Services to find out if you are eligible for a work study position on campus based on your financial aid award.

RSC Work Study Process

At Sage, it is the students' responsibility to research, pursue and secure their own positions. Advance preparation, persistence and follow through is key, because campus employment is highly popular. Feedback from students regarding their jobs is very positive. They really enjoy the flexibility and working along side College staff. Please see the links at right for more information on work study procedures. Jobs are in a variety of areas, (library, campus offices, departments), usually limited to 10 hours per week and generally pay at the current federal minimum wage or slightly higher. A campus job fair is held each fall during the first week of classes. See the table below for offices who employ work study students and their contact information.
