Academic Advising

The Office of Academic Advising on the Troy Campus helps Sage undergraduate students navigate their way through their college education and degree requirements, one step at a time.

Students can receive help in choosing their major, selecting courses to fulfill requirements for their chosen major, and tailor their college education to prepare them for the career of their choosing.

Guide for Course Planning + Registration

Russell Sage follows a Faculty Advising Model, which pairs students with one or more faculty members from the academic department associated with their major.   Advising Administrators are available in the office of Academic Services in Hart Hall to provide additional support for Academic Exploration (undecided) students and any RSC student who needs assistance navigating the path to degree completion.  Students can access their academic record online at any time, including their academic profile, course schedules, transcripts, transfer credit evaluations and program evaluations (degree audits), which help students map their progress toward their degree.
