Culture & Diversity at RSC

The college community at Sage is committed to encouraging diversity and a celebration of cultures and differences. There are many programs, activities and opportunities for all Sage students to enrich their college experience.

International Education Week

Held annually in November, this week long event offers presentations regarding global issues, cultural differences, and student experiences. This week long event culminated with the International Education Fair and dinner.

Black and Latin Student Alliance

The purpose of the Black and Latin Student Alliance is to bring about through unity a better understanding of the diverse cultures that exist on campus. The group is open to all, and seeks to stimulate interest and participation in activities related to the academic, social, and cultural affairs of Black and Latin students.

Spanish Club

Open to all students with an interest in Spanish and Hispanic cultures. The club sponsors cultural activities such as dinners, speakers, presentations, and participates in Hispanic Awareness Week. It also plays an active role in activities with the Spanish House.

Cultural Enrichment Center (CEC)

The Cultural Enrichment Center (CEC) , located on the second floor of Hart Hall, houses a collection of art, books, artifacts and videos. It is the perfect space for informal small group sessions, club meetings, mentor groups, seminars, receptions, or to just hang out. Students are encouraged and welcome to use the Center.

Religious and Spiritual Life

The Office of Cultural Enrichment and Diversity works with various constituents within the Sage community, including the Spirituality Center, to create programming aimed at increasing awareness and fostering an environment that welcomes religious and spiritual expression.
