What Library Work Can You Do from Home or Office?
Connect to the libraries web pages from any web connected computer at http://library.sage.edu. To use the databases available by subscription you will be prompted for a username and password, which are the following:
Username: First five letters of your last name and fist initial of your first name (Same as your Campus Cruiser username)
Password: The number on your Sage ID card
Please Note: There are firewall issues with certain off site computers that can prevent access to the Sage library page.

Student ID cards can be used as debit cards for photocopying and printing

Each Sage Bookstore offers a full selection of books and course materials in use at their respective campuses. These include new and used textbooks, study guides, related reference books, school supplies, and information to order software offered at special low academic prices. Both stores carry an array of imprinted clothing and gifts, greeting cards and snacks. The Troy store carries a wide variety of general reading books as well as best sellers and an extensive selection of childrens books. The Albany store carries an assortment of art supplies at competitive prices. The stores accept credit cards and checks for purchase amounts with valid ID. The bookstores cannot cash checks and do not accept third party or business checks. All texts and select store merchandise may be ordered on-line at our websites (or via www.efollett.com). Refunds on text are given with the purchase receipt as needed for 7 days following the first classes. Current edition textbooks may be sold back to the stores (Sage ID is required) at any time with prices paid ranging up to half of the purchase price.
Dining Services
Troy: McKinstry Food Court, 244-2377
Sage Dining Services, managed by Sodexo Campus Services, offers a wide variety of services on the Sage campuses in Troy and Albany. Dining Services encourages students to interact with management through discussions, food committees, comment boards, and e-mail. Students impact menu selections, hours of operation, and special events. We would like you to feel at home. Bring in your favorite recipe, and we will be sure to serve it; maybe the friend or relative who created the recipe would join you as our guest. Looking for a special diet, catered meal, surprise package for a friend, or a favorite menu to be served? JUST ASK! Stop by the Dining Services Office at any time.
The privilege, convenience and value of a meal plan is available to ALL STUDENTS RESIDENT, COMMUTER, GRADUATE, FULL TIME OR PART TIME, and meal plans can be charged to student accounts for direct billing. Meal Plan purchases are tax free for students and often offer additional discounts for savings of 8% to 20%. Resident students automatically enjoy the privilege, convenience, and value of a Carte Blanche Meal Plan (unlimited access to McKinstry Dining Room) with $100 in Declining Balance Bonus Dollars and 3 Guest Meals each semester. Additional Meal Plan Custom Add Ons are available including dorm room stocking, extra guest meals, increased declining balance funds, and special delivery packages. (Seniors and Graduate Students working off campus may inquire about a customized limited access plan) Commuter and Graduate Students may select the resident board plan (which offers maximum access and value) or one of several declining balance only plans. Requests to change meal plans must be submitted to the Office of Residence Life in Troy or Albany and the Director of Dining Services. Meal plan changes can be made until the Friday after each term begins. A Sage ID must be presented to use meal plans at any dining facility. A lost or stolen ID should be reported immediately at any dining location to prevent unauthorized use. Replacement IDs require a $15 processing fee.
Troy Dining Locations
McKinstry Dining Room - this relaxing location offers eat in dining seven days a week for the entire campus community! Open continuously on week days from breakfast through dinner (Brunch & Dinner on Weekends), resident students enjoy the privilege of Carte Blanche (unlimited) access, while Commuters, Faculty, and Staff access McKinstry Dining Room with meal swipes (if board or faculty plan is purchased), guest meals (if accompanying the bearer of the board plan), declining balance or cash. Regardless of how you paid your entry, once there, enjoy all you care to eat formats including: pizza, pasta, deli, grill, wellness-traditional-vegetarian hot entrees, salad bar, soups, desserts, and beverages. Check out the daily specials, demonstration cooking sessions and theme cuisine events! Informational programs on Balance: Mind - Body Soul, Sustainability, and Zero Trans Fats are main streamed into the McKinstry program. (Major Credit & Debit Cards are not accepted at the access point to McKinstry Dining room, but can be used to make deposits - minimum $25 - to declining balance funds with a valid ID card at the McKinstry office.)
The Buchman Pavilion two ala carte dining outlets in one convenient location the Kiosk offers great coffee and espresso drinks, fruit smoothies, cold beverages, prepared foods and snacks from morning to evening on weekdays. Hot Soups, Entre Specials, and Made to Order Deli are available during dinner hours. The Bistro is also open with hot specials, grill, salad bar, gourmet soups, and signature deli weekdays during lunch! Purchases may be made with declining balance funds, cash, and major credit or debit cards.
