Creative Studies Graduate - Matt MaturoMatthew Maturo is a Creative Life emphasis graduate who graduated with Program Honors and Cum Laude Honors. He managed to combine his long time interest in sports with his internship placement at Sportsrageous. Among other duties, he wrote a daily blog for the site. Matt's Senior Seminar project was an examination of American architecture and its place in contemporary Humanities studies. Matt is considering a Masters program in either writing or education.

Creative Studies Graduate - Christine HollisterChristine Hollister is a Writing Emphasis graduate who graduated with Program Honors and achieved Cum Laude Honors. Christine has a long standing involvement with poetry. She has been writing for many years and has started to read some of her work at local poetry events in the Capital Region. Christine won awards three years in a row in the College Poetry Competition. Christine's Senior Seminar topic was: 'Images of Death in Literature and Art'. She was accepted into two graduate programs. First she will earn her M.F.A. in Poetry at New Hampshire University. Then, she plans to complete her M.S. in Education at the College of Saint Rose in Albany.

Creative Studies Graduate - Dustin FarrellDustin Farrell is a Creative Life emphasis graduate who received Program Honors and graduated Cum Laude. Dustin completed a valuable internship, and gained many new and marketable skills, working for a local publishing firm. Dustin is a poet whose work has appeared in our College Literary and Art Journal. In 2010 – 2011 Dustin served as the Literary Editor for the 42nd Edition of that magazine, Vernacular. He was the First Place winner of the 2011 Annual Poetry Competition for his poem The Jump of Chance. Dustin is pursuing his M.A.T. in Education at the Sage Graduate School.

Creative Studies Graduate - Alex MilkmanAlex Milkman is a Writing emphasis graduate. Alex used most of his elective credits to pursue his interests in studying law and government. Alex completed one internship working for Senator Roy McDonald in the New York State Senate last spring. He completed a second internship working for the School Attorney on labor relations issues at the regional BOCES. He will begin his pursuit of the J.D. degree at Quinnipiac University School of Law in Hamden, CT in September.

Creative Studies Graduate - Tekeah HarrisTekeah Harris combined her interests in writing and art as an Art emphasis student. She managed to complete two internships within the major. First she worked for the Arts Center of Troy as an assistant in the gallery. Next she interned at a local photography studio and learned more about the specialized areas of photography. Tekeah's Senior Seminar topic was' The Harlem Renaissance: Revitalization of A Nation'. Tekeah will begin her pursuit of a M.A. in Liberal Studies this fall at The University of Albany.
