The Scholars Program at Sage College of Albany is open to all students who wish to engage in scholarly activities throughout the academic year. These activities include attending lectures, art openings, films, as well as participating in faculty-led research and service learning activities. Faculty advisor to the Scholars Program is Professor Harvey Strum.
Scholars Program participants keep a passport of activities and reflections on their experiences. They meet monthly with the faculty advisor and with the Dean of the College. Scholars are committed to service and members are invited to participate in volunteer projects such as Habitat for Humanity “builds” and fund raising projects. The scholars will choose the site for a service project and will raise funds to support the project.
