Looking for a job? Trying to find that opportunity and a way to build your resume? Well the Leadership Selection Process is the place for you!!! Being in a student leadership role is a key ingredient for success at college. Here at Sage we provide a number of opportunities to explore leadership such as: being a student mentor, resident assistant or tutor, just to name a few.

Sage Community Members

Please look at the list of Leadership positions and think about the students that you come in contact with. The positions require a variety of qualifications, but all require students with leadership potential, good academic abilities, and strong interpersonal skills.

Please talk with students individually that you think would be good candidates encourage them to fill out an application on-line. You can recommend them generally, or for a particular position.

  • Academic Support Services

    The Academic Support Center provides support services which includes one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring, Student Success Study Skill Workshops, and more.

  • Admissions

    Admission Student Workers are representatives of the SCA community. All workers must be responsible, detail-oriented, organized individuals who are excited about their experience at SCA. Good communication skills are a must!

  • Campus Life Office

    The Campus Life division provides programs, services, opportunities and environments for students to become involved in meaningful activities outside of the classroom.

  • Freddie's Student Center

    Freddies offers a variety of programming and activities to pass the time. There are every day activities such as pool, foosball, darts, and Freddies also provides various types of special events.

  • Information Technology

    The Information Technology Department at The Sage College is dedicated in providing all of Sage's members support and assistance in the shortest amount of time.

  • Opalka Gallery

    Opalka Gallery is the formal exhibition facility of The Sage Colleges. The Gallery frequently features multi-disciplinary projects and hosts poetry readings, recitals, and symposia, often in conjunction with its exhibitions.

  • Recreation and Fitness

    The Sage Colleges Recreation and Fitness Department promotes lifelong health and wellness through diverse and comprehensive programs, while fostering a sense of identity for those in the Sage community.

  • SCA Library

    The Sage Colleges Libraries serve Russell Sage College, the Sage College of Albany, Sage Graduate School and Sage After Work.

  • SCA Resident Assistant

    Sage believes that residence halls should be active living/learning centers that compliment the academic programs of the College. Students can participate in fun, valuable programs, such as cultural dinners, aromatherapy workshops, and Halloween parties for area youth.

  • SCA Student Mentor Position Description

    First Year Experience Mentors are part of a mentor team, who with their faculty mentor, work to create a welcoming and supportive environment for incoming new students.

  • Summer Conference Assistant

    The Summer Conference Assistant reports to the Assistant Director of Conferences and Special Events. The Conference Assistant helps with all aspects of summer conferences on the Troy and Albany Campuses, as needed.

  • Wellness Center

    The goal of the Wellness Center is to assist students in reaching their optimal level of health and wellness through direct treatment and prevention.
