Sage Graduate Schools is one of the best values in the Capital Region. Limited financial aid is available in the form of graduate assistantships and loans. For information, please contact the Office of Student Services. Graduate Assistantships are available on a first come, first served basis through the Office of Marketing and Enrollment Management at The Sage Colleges. A graduate assistant receives a three-credit course waiver and a $1,000 stipend for 150 hours of work. Students may apply for one or more assistantships each semester. Length of Study
The average certificate program takes about one to two years to complete on a part-time basis. You can earn your masters degree in approximately two to three years on a part-time basis, depending upon the number of courses you take each semester and the program in which you enroll.
Fall, spring and two summer session options
Sage's campuses are located in two upstate New York settings: in Albany at University Heights, and in the historic district of Troy. Albany programs are offered in two locations: at the campus on New Scotland Avenue, and at the adjacent Sage Graduate Center at University Heights. More about Sage's Campus Locations »
On-campus housing for both men and women is available on our Albany campus through the University Heights Association. Additional housing for female students is available on the Russell Sage College campus in Troy. Apartments are also available for rent in the neighborhoods surrounding the Troy, Albany and University Heights campuses.
Parking Stickers and ID Cards
IDs are required for all students. Detailed information on securing IDs and purchasing parking stickers is available in the Public Safety Offices on each campus.

The Sage Colleges
The Sage Graduate Schools are members of The Sage Colleges, which also includes:
Russell Sage College, located in Troy, and founded in 1916 by Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage as a College of Practical Arts. Russell Sage College is the oldest of The Sage Colleges. A college for women, its purpose is to empower women for leadership roles in their professions and their communities and to prepare them for personal and professional success.
Sage College of Albany is a private coeducational, undergraduate college of applied studies, emphasizing new and emerging professions in the areas of art and design, communications, business, legal studies and information sciences, with interdisciplinary offerings in the liberal arts and sciences. SCA is distinguished by an innovative design your own degree, two-tier academic model for traditional students. It also offers a select group of bachelors degree completion programs for working adults.
