The person in this position will assist with program evaluation efforts, including data analysis and charting. This assistantship includes working with Dr. Nancy DeKorp to prepare input data, prepare reports and establish measurement and evaluation structures such as program assessment grids, templates, rubrics and standards-based information necessary for individual programs’ national recognition and for unit-wide evaluation (disaggregating pass rate data by program). Other faculty whose research will be supported: Drs. Frazer (impact of model technology classroom on adoption of technology by other teachers), Gormley and McDermott (assessment of at-risk students reading and writing difficulties), Myers, Butterworth and O’Connell (group process in doctoral research; impact of executive coaches on development of educational leaders in training).

Skills Needed for the Position: MS Word, Spreadsheets (Excel), Web searching (Explorer), LiveText, SoE electronic portfolio system

Additional special skills or attributes required for the position: Punctuality in office coverage, good telephone skills, excellent relational skills. Flexibility in schedule.
