About the School of Professional & Continuing Education

Adult students – juggling college, work and family –  are quickly becoming the majority of students on college campuses.

Sage understands the needs of adult students. The School of Professional & Continuing Education – formerly known as Sage After Work – is the flagship continuing college education program in the Capital District.

The School of Professional and Continuing Education at Sage College of Albany is geared towards returning adult students who have some college experience and who wish to complete their bachelor's degree. Programs are designed with the working adult in mind; most required courses meet one evening per week, and many are offered in online, hybrid and weekend formats. The Professional School also offers start-to-finish bachelor’s degrees in select professional areas such as Public Health, and offers a specialized bachelor’s program called the Achieve Degree for adults with high-functioning autism.

The School of Professional & Continuing Education offers a friendly admission process, affordable and quality education, convenient office hours, and tuition benefits though Sage's Corporate Reimbursement Program and Sage's Health Alliance.
