Sage Summer on the Hudson
This 15-credit totally integrated summer course uses the majestic Hudson River as a means to study American techniques of research and local; history, art, social, political, economic and environmental issues. You'll travel up and down the Hudson river, test the water, do primary research at the Rensselaer Country Historical Society, learn about the rise and fall of cities, hear the songs, view the paintings, and read the stories that have made the Hudson famous.
This 14-week summer program can serve as a stand alone program or can serve as a primer to the fall semester Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade Visitor Program. Students must apply for this program no later than March 1, 2012 in order to have time to apply for their American Student Visa. All participants must meet the minimum English language proficiency; TOEFL requirements of 550 (paper), 79 (internet based), the IELTS minimum score of 6.5 or the iTEP minimum score of 5.

The program costs include trips to New York City, Howe Caverns, Vassar College, Lincoln Center, Fordham University, the Iroquois Museum, and much more.
