Hey Bully, Listen! Graphic

HEY BULLY! Listen to THIS...

Hey Bully! Listen to THIS... Show Description:

Grades 6-8

This show provides a clear-eyed (real world) view of the issue of bullying, which aims to empower victims and bystanders. The cast uses transcripts of actual student voices and environmental percussion to stimulate interaction and discussion within the classroom.

Tour Details:

The performance is approximately 30 minutes in length with a total running time of 45 minutes including talk-back. The show is self contained, requires no tech support from the host school and is designed to fit in any space large enough to accommodate the size of the audience.*

*    The format of Hey Bully... is derived from the environmental percussion style of the Broadway show Stomp. Consequently, there are times when the volume of the performance might disturb students and teachers in adjoining classrooms. For this reason, we suggest a more independent space such as a gymnasium or auditorium.

This interactive, four person traveling production includes study guide, talk-back and opportunity for teacher evaluation.

Maximum Audience of 90 students per performance.

Up to three performances per school day.

Tour available: Wednesdays, October 17, 2012 - June 5, 2013, 8am to 2pm.
