Adjunct Instructor of Forensic Science
The Russell Sage College Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry is seeking an adjunct instructor in forensic science for the Fall 2020 semester.
Qualifications: significant experience in forensics, with expertise in the areas of trace evidence, firearms identification, latent prints, photography, or questioned documents preferred (areas other than chemistry and biology). Master’s degree preferred but not required. This would be an excellent opportunity for a retired person.
The successful candidate will teach a portion of a 4-credit lecture and laboratory course called Forensic Applications of the Sciences to juniors and seniors in the undergraduate forensic science major program at the Troy, NY campus at Russell Sage.
Depending upon availability, the adjunct instructor will work up to 4 hours per week in the period August 24 through December 14, 2020.
Russell Sage College operates on two campuses in Troy and Albany, NY.

Adjunct Instructors — Philosophy
The Interdisciplinary Studies Department at The Sage Colleges is seeking adjunct instructors for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 semesters.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Philosophy, Religious Studies, or related field, is required; teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred. The successful candidate will teach a variety of Philosophy courses (including Intro to Philosophy and Ethics) on the Albany campus.
In fall 2020, The Sage Colleges will become Russell Sage College, a coeducational undergraduate and graduate college with campuses in two thriving cities: Albany and Troy, NY.

The Academic Support Center at Sage College of Albany seeks professional tutors for the fall and spring semesters. These are part-time, hourly positions tutoring undergraduate students in a variety of courses including:
Anatomy & Physiology, General Biology I & II, General Chemistry I, Physics I, Mathematics (Algebra, Calculus, Statistics) and more.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Master’s preferred). Experience preferred.
Successful candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be knowledgeable in study skill concepts, and be comfortable working with a variety of students with varying levels of skills. Successful candidates will have the ability to work independently with students and without direct supervision.
