The Nutrition Science Department houses two programs accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) the accrediting agency for the American Dietetic Association (ADA):

The DPD students can take the Registered Dietitian (RD) examination after completing a Dietetic Internship. Sage DPD students have been accepted into Dietetic Internships across the U.S. including, Michael DeBakey Medical Center in Texas, University of Connecticut, University of Delaware, and Bronx VA Dietetic Internship in New York City.
